Getting Your Device Ready For Camp
It’s almost time… camp is just around the corner. This post covers some tips and tricks for everyone to get their devices ready for camp. Some of these are very important reminders while others are just suggestions on how to get the most out of your Campfire. Have a great summer!
Critical Update to Players Sold Before December 2022
We are excited to announce that our software update for all campfire players sold before December 2022 is ready to go. Please follow these YouTube videos to get your campfire players updated to the newest software.

Upgrading to this newest software is the only way to ensure your Campfire Player will continue to work as expected. This is also the only way to get access to new applications like our own Campfire Music Player for non-streaming music, Apple Music, Pandora Music, Spotify Kids, and the Calm meditation app.
Most important reminder: Make Sure Your Music Is Downloaded!!!
Make sure the music from the streaming service(s) you use (Spotify, Apple, Amazon) is downloaded and works when you turn off WIFI on your device. If you don’t download the music, it will not work at camp. Since there is visiting day at most camps this year, campers can connect to their parents' mobile hotspots to renew the streaming license. It only takes a minute or two to do this.

These three platforms have revolutionized the way we discover and enjoy music, providing us with a vast array of hand-picked playlists that cater to every mood, genre, and occasion.
Summer can be a time for them to discover all kinds of new music. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to throw on some music you would like your kids to try… I for one know I will be sending them with some important playlists of bands that have influenced me. This summer I am introducing them to Nirvana, Oasis, and Radio Head. I might even throw in some Britney Spears to lighten the mood.
Online Till the End
Take your device online and open your apps the day you leave for camp if possible. This will maximize the time you can listen to music before you need to renew the license.
